Dear Janet,
I was so saddened to hear of your husband’s passing. Jeremy was a truly Gentleman and will be sorely missed by all of us. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jeremy,
I am very grateful God made our paths cross. I haven’t been able to visit you in Ireland as planned unfortunately. However, I will keep forever with me our lovely discussions about our dearest students, pets, our arguments sometimes and memorable fits of giggles.
Your memory will not be forgotten.
— Clémentine Rouan

— John & Frances Harrison,
My sincere condolences and sympathies. This was sudden and sad news. Jeremy was a good man and important to me. He understood the people around him, human nature, its flaws. He smiled when others might have been angry, stayed above the fray, showed us the way. For the 10 years I have known him, Jeremy has been an amazingly supportive and courageous Dean. I will miss and wish the family strength and courage in the days to come. Philippe Krenzer

Oh dear, it is not easy to articulate the absolute loss and profound sadness when a gentlemen giant 'goes ahead'. Jeremy was an outstanding graduate of the Shannon class of 1975...a brilliant brain, safe pair of hands, unassuming and utterly reliable...and those eyebrows!

Our Jeremy was an evergreen on the alumni circuit. We will miss him dearly and how. Our condolences Janet.

Warmest thoughts be with you Janet at this sad time. Jeremy was a jewel whom I was honoured to have known when I taught at Les Roches some years ago. Once I walked into his office; he looked me over silently and said ,"You look pitiful." I said "I know, but with a little raise I could improve my appearance immensly." No further comment, just a little furtive smile.

Dear Janet,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Jeremy.
I will remember Jeremy as a fine and appreciated gentleman with a very difficult English accent to understand, at least at the beginning of my working experience here in Les Roches. It is indeed an honour to have known Jeremy.
I know it is difficult to imagine, but after the tears have dried, I hope you can think of Jeremy with a smile remembering the happy moments you’ve shared. I’m sure Jeremy is never far away and will always watch over you. I wish he could have stayed with you much longer.
As of today, looking at the sky here in the Valais, I will see another star shining brightly.
My thoughts are with you in this difficult time.
