Jerry Hyde

Jerry was my godfather and my connection is through the Lyons side of the family. Unfortunately we lost contact after my mother passed away (maiden name Myra Lions) but I have many happy memories from when the "Irish boys" Jerry and Jim came to visit.

It is very sad and a great loss to see the passing of Jerry Hyde. Through his marriage to my sister Bernie, Jerry became a member of a second family, the Conboy's. In that role he was a loving and caring Brother in Law and my family knew they could rely upon him to be there in times of difficulty. He was a partner, best friend and fellow adventurer to my sister Bernadette. He made her happy and loved her very much.

Jerry will be missed by all that knew him

My deepest sympathies to all the Hyde Family. My Father would light up whenever he spoke of his dear friends and the times gone by and I have very fond memories of your family coming to visit. I can still here the car horns blaring as the convoy of cars weaved its way down Laragh Hill and the house would be bursting with laughter and joking. It's a nice way to remember them all.
