Sincere sympathy to his good friend Tom his workmates and the good people of Listowel who were so good&kind to Jerry.Just after reading Billy Keanes lovely tribute to him.It brought the tears to my eyes to read how he was treated as a child.Such a kind man and so good for rescuing the poor dumped defenceless little kittens Gods creatures.May Jerry enjoy the peace& happiness of heaven and be reunited with his mother who was also treated very badly. So happy to read that he was well looked after in Aras Mhuire for the last five years of his life.

Sincere condolences to Jerry’s family at this sad time. While Jerry was a Dub he became a naturalised Kerryman during his time working on the construction of the Kerry General Hospital in Tralee and in the Listowel Council. He was known and loved by all and his celebrations when Dublin won All Ireland’s were legendary. As a neighbour in Courthouse Lawn he was wonderful to our late mother and we thank him for that. A truly nice lovable person. May he rest in peace.
