Sincere sympathy to Margaret on the passing of your dad Jimmy.Also to Betty,Anne,Kieran,extended family and friends. Last saturday night i heard of Jimmys passing from a former school student and friend of Jimmys Noel mcloughlin,who in turn heard from Peter o neill also a former fellow student.They like myself and Jimmy, pupils of St Josephs Academy. Jimmy on sports day showed his superb sprinting ability and also excelled at football.i remember meeting Jimmy at his brother Charlies funeral in Dublin.I mentioned to jimmy that his dad,my uncle Kevin,who always in a hurry,checked his watch, but was sometimes late.We had a great laugh as jimmy recalled a funny story to prove that fact.Fitzsimons family always a big connection with CIE.Jimmy worked with Cie Bus Tours.Jimmy had a lovely warm manner,polite and soft spoken.When it came around for me to attend the Academy
I had a great example for me to follow.This is shown by the number of people in Kildare town who remembered Jimmy and spoke to me so kindly of him.May Jimmy rest in peace.
