We were so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. He was a true gentleman and a font of sporting knowledge. It was a real pleasure to fall into his company, and he always left us with a smile and a nugget of sporting history. Rest in peace a chara.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. My fond memory of Jim was in the early days of Avondale United (1970s) when he was our trainer/manager. He would always stop when going to work, at the bus stop in Ballintemple and give us a lift in the morning in his Renault 4. Great fun memories! R.I.P.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's death - my condolences to Breda and all the family. I have know Jim since he worked in Technico and always had the greatest of regard for him.
