We have fond memories of an interesting conversationalist who discussed a wide range of topics, two of his favourites being Mayo football and Enda Kenny’s career as Taoiseach.
Jim was indeed one of life’s true gentlemen. We will miss him dearly.
May he now enjoy eternal rest and peace and may God comfort and console you, Máirín and all who mourn his passing

Jim was an absolute Gentleman, always helpful to me and many in Aer Lingus.
Brains to burn with a great sense of humour. We had many discussions on hurling over the years, especially Clare, but none longer than after the 2013 Final replay when he expressed "empathy" for Cork with a smile.
