Dear Loretta, I was very sorry to learn of Jim's recent passing. He was a man with a big heart. I very much admired him (and you) and what a great team you were! I will never forget the time that he sent me the card congratulating me on winning the IDA company of the year award. It meant so much to me and forever defined Jim to me as a man with a great spirit and humility. That was a long time ago but I still have it. I understand that your loss is great and I hope that this short message offers some consolation to you and your children (I met Ronan some years ago). I am very sorry that I could not make it to the funeral mass - I tried to but it was not to be (too many people pulling out of me that morning). If you are ever passing me here in Coolmine, I would very much like you to call in for a chat. Warmest regards, Gearoid
