I was so sorry to learn of Jim’s death ,and I’m sad to have missed his funeral mass .I’ve happy memories of both Jim and Margo who were neighbours of mine in Esmondale .Rip Jim,
from the Monaghan family ,Helena ,David ,Claire and Owen .

Sincere sympathy to all the family on Jim’s sad passing. All of us who knew Jim enjoyed the company of a great gentleman whose passion for Mount Sion Hurling and its many heroes, his deep interest in the Great War and his abiding love of golf were reflected in so many chats. Jim was also a willing volunteer for the Saturday morning cleanup in Esmondale. In his capacity as Treasurer of the Residents Association, he was
careful, conscientious and always up to date on the accounts. A gentleman and a local treasure! May he rest in peace.

Condolences to Susan, Tony and Simon on the passing of your Dad. I have fond memories of him and his dog Ben dragging me through the estate on a snow sled after a dump of snow. Also lots of other fond memories of times we spent chatting the odd time we had on the golf course together. I'll miss him in number 3.
