Sincere condolences on the passing of gentleman Jim. I have many fond memories of playing table tennis with and hearing stories from Jim in Waterford.

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. A gentleman, he’ll be missed at the tournaments. I shared a room with him when the VETT’s 6 Nations were last played in Dublin. Very sorry to hear this news. I played table tennis with and against Jim many times. He always gave his best and I had many good games against him. Jim was a member of the Irish veterans team, together with Tommy Caffrey and myself when we won the gold medal in the Home Nations championships.
