My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your darling Dad.Jimmy Dunlea was one in a million.He was a happy man ,his contentment was infections.He adored his darling wife and family ,relished his swims and embraced Italian culture and language. He was a Renaissance Man I am privileged to have known him.

Our prayers & thoughts are with the Dunlea family at this sad time. Jimmy will be fondly remembered from all those years ago when Philly & himself landed in Timoleague with their entourage for the Summer. Days spent in Dunworley & Simon's Cove spring to mind along with the spins home in the VW Variant (even Jimmy had an exotic car by Timoleague standards in those days) to save Pat & myself walking. Even with a car full of kids there was always room for 2 more. Days spent swimming when life was so much more casual & easygoing than today, walking & cycling to Dunworley with Philly & Jimmy keeping an eye on everyone, their own along with the local 'urchins'. Jimmy being a great swimmer (in my eyes anyway) up there with Joe Cash doing their laps back & forth. Now Ferg might say my memories of what happened 50 odd years ago are getting a tad foggy (must be the Rose tinted glasses!!) but those memories of the Dunlea's & Summer in Timoleague bring a smile to my face as I recall great times with your folks & yourselves. They will remain steadfast as we remember both Philly & Jimmy. Thinking of you all at this sad time but with a wry smile & great great memories.
