Sincere condolences to Alice, Brian, Jennifer, James and the extended family. Jimmy always brought me to every Offaly match up and down the country as well as Man Utd matches over the years. Gave me my first job at 13 and always had mighty craic with Jim. Have some great memories with my Godfather and he will never be forgotten. Was even in the health up to recently to help me make an entrance at my new house, always there to help. Thanks for everything Jim

I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all the Lowrys and Fitzgeralds over the loss of Jimmy. Jimmy thought me plenty of good things on all the days I went working with him when I was a gossen, thought me plenty of bad things too, we had plenty of craic and never a dull moment. Plenty of breakfasts were ate, get in a good foundation and your sound for the day he'd say. First match in croke Park, first ploughing, climbed Croagh Patrick and many more excursions too many to mention. First time driving a brand new van on the main road, won't say anymore about that. Put up fights with the parents to let me out to discos. Always in your corner out of devilment. I don't think my Mayo wife would have married me if it wasn't for all the All Ireland tickets Jimmy sent my way when the chances of getting them was looking bad. We're all going to miss Jimmy, our household won't be the same. RIP Jimmy and get in a good foundation there for the rest of us. Shane and Emer.

Its hard to write this as no words would really describe what Jimmy did for us over the years.There was never a dull moment, The fireworks, the hunting, the matches, the miles he put on vans taking us to events in the 4 corners of Ireland. The feeds we ate together in hundreds of places, the craic we had and the stories that were told.
Jimmy was one of a kind and would give you the shirt off his back.
