Jim, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I like many others have very fond memories of your mother, she was always very welcoming and accommodating. She allowed you convert her "kindergarten" into your regular disco's in the 70's and later on tolerated all the coming and going, day and night, cups of tea and running repairs (with John's assistance) of the many young motorcyclists in the area with their motorbikes. Please pass on my condolences to your sister Maria and brothers John and Philip and to your girls Joanne and Philippa on the loss of their Grandmother.

As a clear 2nd cousin (Mom was Maureen Brennan of Ballyhale) , I extend my deepest sympathies to you Maria, John, Jim and Philip, on the death of your mother, as well as to your families and extended family. I just heard the sad news today. May Mom rest in peace. If I can at all, I would love to attend the memorial Mass when it is possible to celebrate her life. In the meantime be assured that I will remember your mother and you all at my Mass tomorrow here in Ranelagh.

Sad for your loss Philip and Marie. Remember Joan well. She was always very glamorous. She attended my wedding in 1974. Her husband Philip was a first cousin of my Mum. Rest in peace Joan

Our lives became inextricably linked in 1966 when we moved to Grove and our late parents Michael and Margaret had wonderful memories and stories of the kindness given by Phil and Joan to them upon their arrival and as the Brennan’s set off for a new life in Dublin. May Joan and Phil rest in peace.

Dear Marie, John, Jim and Philip. I remember fondly the day you all moved into Rathdown Avenue. New friends with the fun Mum. Great memories of playing in the garden.
