Sadly Mary & I were unable to attend Joan's funeral services. Though we met occasionally only, we always had a good friendly relationship and shared interests. I marvelled at her wonderful energies. How she devoted herself to maintaining the family home and to all of you, her pride and joy.
One could not mention her gifts without a special reference to her gardening achievements. You all are surely aware of them and doubtless recall having to compete with them for her attention.
While we watched the service remotely we share your sadness of the loss of a mother and good friend
