To Ray, Letty, John, Helen and the extended family
I am so sad that this day has come.
Joe was a proper gentleman who I really only got to know after Colette(KeKe) died almost 20 years ago. KeKe was a wonderful lady and my children had many years of enjoyment and guidance with her. I knew Joe as the legend that was everything badminton first.
I have enjoyed many a good discussion over dinner with Joe since ... from badminton, people, books, sports, effect of budget on his pension, and Mr Trump to name a few. He was an interesting character who loved to socialize and loved catching up with all the people he knew.
My sincere sympathy to all the family at this time.
As the song lyrics go....the candle burned out long before ...but the legend never will.....
