RIP Joe and condolences to the McGraths who he spent so much of his life with. He was very witty, an intelligent man, had great knowledge. That unmistakable droll he had, many memories I have of being in Clarke’s or Fogartys and whoever would be round him would be laughing away with him. You never think someone like that will ever go but they do. When people say that places lose their character, Joe’s passing encapsulates that. An obliging old sort and another that’s gone now and will be missed by everyone. The road up from Ballyline has taken a fair shaking over the last few years. Hope they’re all up there tonight playing cards.
RIP Joe.
