Joe Cregan

Mary, Brian, Orla & Niamh,
It was only this afternoon (Wednesday 17th) that I learned of the death of your beloved Joe & Dad, as I was away. I am totally saddened that he is no longer with us, and will always remember his gentle wit! He was one of our great friends in our group, now sadly totally diminished- it brought back memories of all our wonderful parties & get-togethers over many years. Anytime I hear "Scarlet Ribbons" I think of Joe. He was a man of absolute integrity and and compassion. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Our Uncle Joe. A font of wisdom that served as a beacon of light to our family. I'm sure I speak for all my Palmerstown O'Brien siblings when I say we owe our uncle an immeasurable debt of gratitude for his wisdom dispensed through my late Dad Noel throughout our lives. Our deepest condolences to Mary and the entire family. Joe was a very cheerful, gentle and welcoming neighbour when we arrived in Clonskeagh in 2006. Alway gave a salute and had time for a quick chat. He will be missed by you all so much. Eileen, Chris, Eoin and Conor from across the road.

I would like to express my condolences on the passing of Joe Cregan.. I knew Joe when he worked in OPW and always found him to be a kind and honourable man. I am sure he will be missed by his family and those who were close to him. My sympathies to all.
