Dear Mary, Karen and David,

I am in Northern Ireland at the moment and my cousin, Jim Forde, rang me to tell me of Joe's death. I am so sorry to miss Joe's funeral. We all grew up together on Furry Park and it was such a happy place. We had a wonderful "Furryparkers" re-union in 2010 when the Delaney and the Douglas friends returned from abroad and two other smaller events after that. I have beautiful memories too of Joe's Dad, who was so kind to us as children. May Joe rest in peace and may you be blessed yourselves with strength in the days to come. Praying for you.
