I have just heard the sad news. I met him through the Kelly Clan and my daughter, Paula Kelly also worked with in Orthopaedics in Galway
He was a wonderful inspiration to all of us interested in Family Tree.
I was in touch with him a number of times about Margaret Kelly aka "Bluebell" who claimed to be my aunt
He will be a huge loss to the Clan and its members

Deepest sympathy on the sad passing of Joe. We always appreciated his kindness to us and my late father Martin Mc Guire. Many happy memories of visits he made to Pullathomas .

We were very sad to hear the sudden, sad news, and send our deepest sympathies to Angela and all the family. We are very sorry not to be able to attend the funeral but will make a donation to the Simon community as requested. We will remember Uncle Joe and you all in our prayers. Angela and family my deepest sympathy to you on the passing of Joe. It was lovely to meet both of you at Concerts. As a Consultant he looked after me for many years when "my unique physique" was in difficulty !!
