So saddened to hear about Joe’s passing. My days as a juvenile golfer in Carlow were the best times and Mr McDonald as we knew him was always the gentleman and looked after us so well. I'll always remember your style, your strength and how interested you were in the world around you. I'll miss your emails, I owed you one from just last week! I will always remember yourself and Dad making a dash from the parade ring at the Curragh to study the horses travel down to the stalls, where your big decisions were made!
