Joe McGarry

An inspirational man.
I had the joy of spending some time with him when he came to speak at our Emigration Conference in Castlebar twenty years ago. I can still hear his words delivered with an authenticity that couldn't be faked and the stunned and respectful silence of his audience. I will remember him with great grá and respect. My sincere sympathies to Mary and his family.

Sincere sympathies and condolences to Mary and Joe’s family. After many years of being homeless Joe responded by working tirelessly for his former colleagues. He brought homeless services to Limerick through Novas. As a founding member and director of this homeless and housing charity he has a unique position and is admired for his energy and commitment. His legacy will not be forgotten.
