We have only learned of the very sad death of Joe.

As Joe's siblings know, there was a great friendship between the O'Shaughnessys and our parents, Dinny and Eileen. We are always greeted warmly at the annual Patron in July when meeting up and hope to do so again.

I met Joe when I represented Louth Gaa at Leinster council . He was jovial gentleman and a true Gaa person .He was always willing to help with his wisdom and knowledge his only interest was doing the right thing at club, county , provincial and national level, He also was the same as a player I enjoyed listening to him talking about his playing days.
