Sorry to see that Joe O'Rourke has died. Hemade a wonderful contribution to camogie and hurling in Wicklow during the period he was based in Avoca, we in Aughrim had some great contests with him in those days. His service to the younger generation was exemplary. My sympathy to his family.

So sorry to hear this Noel and Deirdre. The Sarge was a force to be reckoned with and he did so much for us all here in Avoca. I have great memories of him and Sal and all they did for the Camogie club, hurling club and youth club. They are back together now and will always be looking out for you both.
