Mr Prunty and his family were neighbours of my aunty Colette in Tolka Estate. He became friends with my Dad Sean McKeown (Colette's brother) who suffered a stroke 4 years ago leaving him unable to walk or talk. When he visited Colette in the last few years he also took time to visit my Dad which myself and my sisters were so touched by, and I know will have meant so much to my Dad. Our and Sean's sincerest condolences on your loss with kindest regards, Michelle

Dear Agnes , my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved Joe .
I'm sure, Agnes, that St Peter had a great welcome for Joe, having seen how he lived his faith in such a commmited and exemplary way for so many years. Joe's affability and sense of humour will certainly be missed by those who attend the special retreat in Lismullin each February. When speaking about departure to the next life, St Josemaria Escriva used to say that God was like an expert gardener who picks each flower when it is most in bloom, which I feel is most apt in the case of Joe. You and all the family are in my prayers. God bless.
My deepest condolences on the passing of Joe. What a wonderful character he was. Always a smile and a good word to say. Staff passing by your home on the way to Baggot Street at lunchtime would be treated to a chat and a bit of banter. His smile will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
My deepest sympathy to Agnes and all your family on the passing of Joe, a life -long amazing Uncle and Godfather, he will be sadly missed always....may he rest in peace.

Dear Agnes and family, I have just seen the notice of Joe's death in the paper. So sorry for you all at this time. I have known Joe , with great pleasure, since I waited for a lift home from my Father ,Gerry Graham, from Keoghs after visiting my Grandmother in nearby Myrtle St. c.1950. I remember all the times he bullied me into going to the retreats in Rathfarnham and Milltown. I hope God has his listening ears on as he is going to need them. God Bless. Brian Graham.
