I am thankful for the memories we created together, from feeding the birds every morning at Silky Oaks and playing with Meg, to going to the Gauteng Zoo.
I am grateful to have had you in my life and so privileged to have seen you in Ireland.
You are an incredible man that touched many people. I’m sure you flew an incredible plane up there on your way to heaven.

Joe was a good friend of mine for 40 years plus.We spent many happy hours together in cockpits of planes which had crashed or been damaged, and he was appointed to do the recovery of same. He was always available to give good advice, and although I am now retired, I will miss his sharp wit and endless knowledge.
