Going down to the Minimart for a message and then getting to choose a ‘black jack’ or a ‘cola bottle’ was a cherished treat of all our childhoods in Rathonoragh- Joe would be there patiently waiting while we eyed all the goodies inside the big jars. I am saddened to learn of the death of Joseph RIP. Many a day we walked to Church in Crossna and school together. Years later when Joseph was up visiting the farm he often stopped off at our house in Corrigeenroe and we would reminisce of olden days.
