Sorry to learn of John’s passing. My sincere condolences to all his family at the difficult time. Served with John in 70 Inf Bn UNIFIL during the big snow. He was the consummate professional officer always pleasant and supportive to those around him. John may you now rest is well deserved peace.

It seemed as if John was ever present in Kickham Barracks and he was a welcoming and courteous host to all who had the pleasure of visiting the instillation on a regular basis. He was responsible for the local army transport fleet which he maintained effectively and efficiently at all times and it was indeed a pleasure to work with him in that area .
