My deepest, heartfelt condolences to all of John’s family and friends at this very sad time. I had the pleasure of working with John in UHW for many years. Banter would follow and it set many a day in work off with lots of laughs. Such a gentleman. You will be deeply missed. Rest in peace x

Gutted to hear the news that John has moved on. I got to know John through the music sessions and he became a friend. A very kind man who was always encouraging to people who wanted to perform. His monthly gathering 'The Listening Room' at Downses brought a small group of us closer together and we had many joyful Saturday afternoons at different locations playing tunes...John was the gentle ring leader. And a good songwriter too, heartfelt songs about people and their journeys. My memories of time spent with John are special,. Condolences to John's family at this tough time.
