Dear Síle and all the Corbett family,
I was so sorry and shocked to hear of John’s death.
It is such a sad time for you all to lose the much loved youngest in your family.
I had a lovely chat with him a few years ago on one of the occasions I visited.
I hope the solidarity of family and friends as well as the many happy memories of John will give you some comfort and strength during this time.
Thinking of you all with love.

John became a flat neighbour to me in Cecil Street in the late 90s and we remained good friends down the years although we seldom had the chance meeting as he was so busy at his life. The news of his passing has stunned me.
