Ann-Marie is the godmother to all our children because she is such a high integrity person, who beams love, family and faith. We know that comes directly from her parents. We only met John once at her home, but know how much of an impact he has had on Ann-Marie and how she cares for everyone around her. He will live on in her and all his children. Sending many prayers from the US.

So very sad to hear of John’s passing, what a great person. My memories of John are of him and my dad chatting for hours in the window seats down in granny haverty’s house! The only ‘quiet’ spot! They had great time for one another and dad always looked forward to seeing John. John was so warm and friendly to everyone he met, liked by all, a real gentleman. Dear Bridie, Ann-Marie, Sean, Seamus, Orla, Edel and Julie. Doug and I are sending our heartfelt sympathy during this difficult time. We consider all of you a part of our extended family and share in your loss. We have many beautiful memories of your parents' visits to America over the years - joining us for many family events and holidays. Not only was John (and you, Bridie) a gracious guest, he was such an interesting conversationalist – he made every family event more enjoyable just by being there. We’re grateful for the opportunity to have known such a warm, kind, intelligent, one-of-a-kind man. We pray that you feel God’s love and comfort at this time. Rest in Peace, John. Till we meet again.
