Sincerest sympathy to the Davis family on the passing of John. Warrenhouse Road has lost a truly great man - always willing to help his neighbours. Both John and his late wife Theresa were so kind to both my parents when they were alive - he will never be forgotten by this family. R.I.P.

Deepest sympathy to the family on the passing of Mr Davis. Growing up next door to Mr and Mrs Davis was lovely; Mr Davis was always in his garden and often left rhubarb or a cabbage or shamrock for our parents.
I remember chatting to him through the hedge in #22 from a very young age. He was a gentle and kind person who was always lovely to us children, as Mrs Davis was too. May he rest in peace.
— Sarah O'Farrell

So sorry to hear of the passing of John.

We have had the pleasure of living next door to John for the last 28 years. John was a lovely humble person. He was a great neighbour. John loved to talk about growing up in Clare and gave us a great insight into how life was all those years ago. He also loved to talk about the various occupations he held both here in Ireland and in England. John could recall specific details about wages, the cost of living (the cost of a bike) etc. His attention to detail was uncanny.

We will miss John.

May he rest in peace.

Carol, Eoin and Michael.
