We were all profoundly saddened in Mèxico on learning of John’s sudden passing. Our hearts go out to Ber, Grace, Paula, Edward, Mick, Emmet, also to Ward, Martha and Tutts. John leaves an irreplaceable void for his family, friends and Army comrades. We admired his many accomplishments as an Army Officer, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and devoted husband to my sister Ber. May he rest in enteral peace together with his beloved parents.

‘Flow on lovely river, flow gently along, by your water’s so sweet, sounds the lark’s merry song. On your green banks I’ll wander where first I did join, with you lovely Molly, the Rose of Mooncoin’

With heartfelt condolences.
