Sincere condolences to all of Jack’s family on the sad passing of a wonderful ambassador for Rockchapel. Treasured memories include post match analysis when Jack had ferried Den, Jer and Tony to matches all over Duhallow and further afield. He introduced us to set dancing when he brought us to the practice for Scór in Maureen and Marty Murphy's house. His encouragement led us to volunteer in local events. Canvassing for local county council elections was our first introduction to politics.
In subsequent years I followed his career as he worked tirelessly for Rural Development. His love of music, culture and storytelling will live on in Bruach na Carraige. Rest in peace Jack.
