John was a respected member of An Garda Síochána in Ardfinnan in late 50's early 60's
During his time in Ardfinnan John played Senior Football for the club lining out in goal for 1959 & 1960 championships and was a valued member of the team which laid the foundations for our success in the 60's.

Dear Margaret and Family . I’m so sorry to hear that John has passed .He was a gentleman and enjoyed chatting to him about our days on the docks and also his love of golf .
