So sorry to hear the news of John's death. He was a client of mine when he was in Blackwood Hodge from
1969 to1978 and later in the 1990's when he was based in Seapoint Avenue, Monkstown. He was a real
Gentleman and so considerate. Condolences to his wife, his children and their families and especially Louis
who came with me on assignments for his father in the 1990s.

It saddened me to learn of the death of John Gore. I remember him as a great sportsman and an excellent sailor. On several sailing trips he proved to be the bravest of us all. Like the time when in the middle of the night a full spinnaker went out of control in windspeeds of over 25 knots. John was the one who went on the foredeck and got the spinnaker down although it was stuck at the top of the mast. A man of high standards, loyal to family and friends, a wonderful host. I will miss him and so will his family. My condolences to you all, and especially to Magsie, Monique, Arnaud and Ignace.
