So sorry to hear of Johns untimely death. I remember when John turned up in Templeogue with his pal Mark Cookman to join CHC as fresh faced youngsters in c1978, John having joined Northern Bank from Raphoe Grammer School. He played on the 1st & 2nd teams till he was transferred to Cork where he played with Cork CofI winning an IJC cup with another Corinthian Simon Gay as Captain
On his return to Dublin John played on our lower teams and his sons Mark, Jonnie, Michael and Tom all journeyed through our colts section where John helped with coaching.
A true Corinthian, a gentleman who never lost his Donegal accent.
We will miss him.
My sincere condolences to Jenny and the boys on their terrible loss.
