Deepest sympathy to Joan and all the family on Johnny's recent death. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad and difficult time. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the funeral. I have cherished memories of the great Saturday night sessions in Hennessy's (Blessington) and Mag Doyle's (Hollywood) and the 1st Tuesday night of May and October in the Hall in Donard, which he was a part of. Johnny was a gentleman of "the old school" and a wonderful musician. May he Rest in Peace.
