Only within the last year i had a great chat with him when the biography of jimmy finn was being produced.He was most complementary in his appraisal of finn. A wonderful hurler for both kilkenny and Bennetsbridge. On behalf of the Tipp hurling family we pray that the bed of heaven be his home.

When I heard of the passing of Johnny, I could only think of my late Dad Sean Holden telling me all the stories of his hurling days with Bennettsbridge and Johnny and many more so I would like to express our Deepest sympathy to his family Rip Johnny
