I first met John when I joined the board of Savvi Credit Union 6 years ago and had the privilege of serving as his Vice Chair for the past 3 years. A man of the utmost integrity, his leadership skills shone through as he transformed Savvi as Chairman and his legacy will last for many years.

The only disagreement I ever had with him was when we were debating who had the best hurling team - Limerick or Galway. I had to admit defeat on that one.

My personal condolences, and that of the Board of Savvi Credit Union to Pauline and Family.
