Dear Marlene, Joe, Patricia, Gerard, Neil and Bella, I am heartbroken to hear of Jackie's death RIP. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I have so many fond memories of good times in Williamstown, Dublin, and Boston. Jackie was always so hospitable, never cared when we arrived to visit, or how long we would stay. He was so good over the years to Stephen, they had such a special relationship, and I know he will be there at Heaven’s Gate to welcome Jackie home. What a great reunion that will be! Thank you Jackie for your friendship over the years, I will cherish those memories. God speed my friend, until we meet again.

So shocked to hear of John's passing. John was one of my lifelong friends from our days in St Jarlath's Tuam. We had a special bond because we were the same age and had the same birthday. My late wife and myself shared many experiences with him down the years in Dublin, Boston, Belfast and Louisburgh. Although I had not seen him very recently we phoned occasionally and always exchanged Christmas cards and premature birthday greetings. The last card I got warned me that our 76th birthday was looming. John was always witty, the best of company and a loyal and generous friend. I will sadly miss him.
Deepest sympathy to all the Morgan family.
