I remember how we were all aware of when “ Uncle John “ would be coming home on his annual holiday,and the trips to the Sandies. My dad always enjoyed the wee chats himself and John would have ,as Gaeilge. May he Rest In Peace.

I enjoyed his company and chats in his home and the many cups of 'strong' tea and of course playing with him at sessions. Cara mór linn and we'll miss him greatly. I was so sad to hear about the passing of John. I knew John for the last number of years on his visits to town every day.
John loved the horses our chats went back over racing over years .
John had a great athletic career he won many awards.
He loved his music and was very proud with his last birthday session in local pub.
I am sure John will play a few tunes in Heaven and pick out a few winners.
It was a pleasure to have known this gentleman.
