So sorry to hear of John’s passing. A lovely man with a great sense of humour. He loved to have a chat when I used to meet him out walking his dog. He often gave me a lift home from Cash’s when we both worked there. A real gentleman!

Mr O'Brien was a gentle Soul, he was a great neighbour to my parents, Donal and Theresa Baylor who used to live in number 84 Gardiners Hill before they moved up the hill to Murmont Road in the early 1970's. He was a true gentleman, his photo was as I had remembered him in the early 70's. RIP
