We are deeply saddened here today as we heard the death of a beloved past pupil, a pupil that brought a ray of sunshine to our school with his vibrant smile his pleasant personality and through the many friendships he had.. John's picture hangs on our corridors and when viewing it today the vibrancy glowing from it was met with deep tears and sadness from us all. what a gentleman John O was, he would do anything to help out and would go above and beyond a massive heart and a massive smile that would stand out. I had the pleasure of working with John in the Irish Heather the laughs in work and outside work he gave us, you could talk to John O about anything he was just brilliant. We will always speak of you and smile When we do because that’s the effect you had on us.

John was like a brother to me. We lived and worked together in Vancouver. We did everything together. He was one of the finest men I've ever met and the finest friend I've ever had.
I heard many stories about his parents and his brother and sisters. I met Christy when he came to Vancouver for a visit. My heart goes out to all his family. Thinking of you Clare
