27 years ago this year John Anne and Jon Paul became our neighbours in summerhill we lived happily side by side John was like a granddad to my girls he was always very kind and helpful full of old jokes and stories he loved telling you .we will miss popping into him every day he will be missed by all that meet him on his walks every day .it will take us a long time to get used to them not being next door, anymore 💔💔Rest in peace John back in the arms of Anne Condolences to you Jon your wife and family and to all the O Connors family .

John was the best grandad to Eden, Always the best man to pop in to me for a chat. He will be missed by a lot of people. The Glen won’t be the same without him

So very sorry to hear of the death of John so soon after the death of his beloved wife. He left Kilrossanty some years ago and became a well known man in the city. Any time we met in town he always spoke of old days in Leamybrien and Carroll’s Cross and as he used to put it “when work was work”. Deepest sympathy to his son Jon and extended family.
