So sad to hear of John's sudden passing. He was always a positive voice at Munster IFA meetings over the years and kept a keen eye on what was happening in Cork. Sincere Condolences to Catherine ,Con, Tim and all his family at this sad time. May he Rest in Peace

So shocked and saddened to hear of John's untimely demise. While our paths had rarely crossed in recent times, this tragic news brought back many fond and happy memories of our time in MACRA. Travelling with himself and Tim Leader to my first Co Exec meeting was a never to be forgotten experience. Having linked up at Nadd pub, I don't think that any one either before or since went through Ballyshonin as fast as the trusted old Peugeot did that night. Then of course there was the National Sheep shearing back in1982.The stories are endless but all confirming John O Flynn's commitment to improving the 'lot' of his fellow man. To his wife Catherine and his immediate and extended family I extend deepest sympathy .
