We at Greystones Cancer Support would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to John's children, thier mother Anna, sister and extended family , on his recent sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. May his soul rest in peace.

We were shocked to hear of John's passing. We caught up with him in May at my school reunion and he was in fantastic form. Our condolences go to Anna and his family.

We are very saddened and shocked to learn of John’s untimely passing. We have known him for over 30 years and always found his company to be exhilarating and inspiring with a great sense of humour. Sincere condolences to Anna and family. May he rest in peace.

Knew John for over 50 years and remember him meeting Anna and having a family. So sad to hear this sad news and always found John to be a sincere and kind person. Condolences to Anna and family.

We were very saddened to hear of the John's untimely death. We have known John for many years and we will miss his presence, his chat, and his humour (and not forgetting the Gauloises cigarettes). Every visit and phone call brought a new challenge for consideration - John was never afraid to challenge bureaucracy and officialdom.
