The Regan Family, myself and Val would like to offer our condolences on the untimely passing of John. John organised our Wedding Reception in Ballymagarvey Village back in 2012 and he done an exceptional job in ensuring that we had a very special day and one we still speak about with very fond recollections, I would have also met John previously while living in Drogheda with his Nephew Martin and remember enjoying a few beers and a bit of craic one Sunday afternoon in the Black Bull. May you rest in peace.
— Tony Moran & Val Spain Moran
Dear Christine, it is with the greatest sadness that we learned of your John’s passing. He was, without doubt, one of the greatest characters from my time back in the homeland. He made us belly laugh about life with his, tongue in cheek, Dublin way of explaining events. Sean and I are deeply saddened and wish for you, your children and grandchildren a time when he rests gently on your mind.
— Maura Hegarty
Rest in peace John
— Jackie McKeown

Dear Christine,

It was with great shock and sadness that I heard of Johns recent death. Whilst it has been years since our meeting, I will always remember John... as a funny man, but also a very talented and devoted one. I will be thinking of you all, I could not attend the funeral because of work commitments, but did not want to let this time pass without acknowledgement of both John and his passing. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Verona
