I was very sorry to hear of johns death. I’ll always remember him sitting in the drawing room of Rockfield House every inch the lord of the manor his ancestors were. What a lovely man. I didn’t realise just how sick he was and I was looking forward to spending more time with him in the future My deepest sympathy to all the Rothwell family

Sad to hear about John, a great fella . Many great memories and some painting tips along the way, he gave loads of people a start. Last time I met him was classic John at Brien’s funeral in McBride’s , the boys come thru and say John is not in great form he’s in the car outside and sends his regards, couple minutes later guess who pops up in the line to pass condolences on the QT.
