Dalkey Community Council was very sad to hear of the death of John Bailey. John worked tirelessly for the residents of Dalkey and was always available and willing to help whenever the need arose. His contribution to Dalkey was immense and his never-ending commitment will be sadly missed by all.

Deepest sympathy to all the Baileys on the passing of a gentleman ....John /Sean 's volunteerism knew no bounds ....be it in the GAA where he was a part of that County Board group that worked on the enhancement of both football and his beloved hurling in the Capital or later in Politics where any constituent 's issue was never too difficult for him ......

Deepest Sympathy on the Passing of a sporting icon John....When as pic editor at The Editor my Editor Paul Drury Now sadly departed as well and John Costelloe ,Chief Executive at the Dub County Board organised with John in creating the GAA Supplement.....I was the odd one out....A Corkman helping the Dubs...Fond Memories....he called me The Snapper...I am in Kerry ,awaiting the Mayo Crowd for Sunday...

Sean was a gentleman and I always respected him greatly. He played on my indoor football squad for almost 20 years. We had some great times. May he R.I.P.
