Rest in peace, John.

I am deeply saddened on hearing about the passing of John. I knew him since our school days in the early '80s. He was a kind and thoughtful soul, with an eccentricity and humour that never failed to put a smile on our faces. He'll be sorely missed. Keep it up John - in the Crescent Society in the sky.
