I am so sorry to hear of your father’s tragic passing. What a terrible shock for you all. Please God he did not suffer at all. Cherish all the happy memories of a life lived to the full, the love and the laughter. No doubt that is what he would wish you to do. Thinking of you at this difficult time.

I was so saddened to hear of Johnny's passing. I had the pleasure of serving with him on committees in the PYBC and working for him in his business. He was a rock of good sense, he could analyse a complex situation with great clarity, when Johnny spoke, you listened because they were words of wisdom. Johnny was a friend to us through scouting, Poolbeg and Dublin bay old gaffers association. He was a wonderful friend and sometimes mentor. He was instrumental in growing the PYBC over the past 20 odd years and his ideas, vision and commitment resulted in the development and installation of the now well known and well used marina at Poolbeg.
He will be sadly missed by everyone. Deepest condolences to John junior and all the family.
